What is the tracking used for motion capture?

We use a SteamVR based trackers installed on the tracked subject and SteamVR Base Stations 2.0 for tracking functionality.

How many trackers can be used on a single tracked subject?

Typically 8 and more can be used to track a person. The maximum recommended amount of trackers on a single subject is 13.

What is the frequency of tracking used?

Base stations emit IR light at 240Hz, Trackers have sensors that track motion at 1000Hz

What software is used for recording of motion capture?

Uniscans uses a custom software solution that is made available only to our customers.

How many people can be recorded simultaneously?

Currently, our system allows recording of a maximum of 8 people.

What is the tracking area, that can be created by the system?

Uniscans system allows to operate on a 8 x 8 meter area.
